A yoga pant is a fit product. The waistband, rise, gusset and fabric stretch have to match the way your customer moves. A clean logo will not save a seat that goes sheer or a waist that folds over. Choosing a manufacturer is about whether that factory can hold the specification you approve, from the first sample through the bulk cartons.

Start with the brief

Send the job the pant has to do before you ask for a price. Studio, hot yoga, training and everyday wear each change the fabric and the rise. A useful first note includes:

  • The wearer and the activity
  • A preferred fabric family, or a swatch
  • Target weight, stretch and opacity
  • Rise, inseam and waistband type
  • Logo method and where it sits when the fabric is stretched
  • Size run and quantity per size
  • The market you sell into, so labels and care wording can be planned

A reference garment plus a list of changes is enough to open a sample when you do not have a tech pack yet. Building a fully new pattern is a different job from repeating a pant you already sell.

Quantities worth quoting

At JN Sports in Dongguan, a regular order starts at 50 pieces per style, per color, and sizes in that color can be mixed. A new pattern, a special fabric, or a complex process is confirmed in the quote. There is no second published minimum.

Ask for the minimum per colorway as well as per style. A low style minimum does not help if each color still has to hit a number you cannot sell through.

Use the sample to accept the fit

Sample development usually takes about 7 working days after fabric, artwork and construction are confirmed. Wear the sample. Measure it as well, but the wear test is what shows whether the pant works.

  • Waistband recovery after it is stretched and left to rest
  • Whether the rise stays put in a squat and a forward fold
  • Gusset comfort, and whether seams stack under the body
  • Opacity at the seat and inner thigh, in studio light and in daylight
  • Leg opening, ankle cuff or edge finish, depending on the style
  • Logo placement on a stretched body, not only on a flat garment

Approve measurements in writing. Bulk is usually 25–35 working days after that approval. Extra sample rounds, special cloth or trims add time. Shipping sits after production.

Fabric and the squat test

Most yoga pants are nylon or polyester blended with elastane. The fiber name does not tell you whether the seat will go sheer. Ask for the fabric that will actually be cut, then squat-test the sample in the light your customer uses.

Also agree how the fabric is cut. Stretch that runs off-grain can twist a leg. That shows up when someone wears the sample and walks, not only when the pant is measured on a table.

What to compare

Price per piece is the last number, not the first. Compare whether the sample matches the notes you sent, how revisions are written down, and whether incoming fabric, in-line measurements, labels and packing are checked against that sample. JN Sports accepts T/T bank transfer and Alibaba Trade Assurance on confirmed orders.

A reply that offers a different product from the one you described is a preview of how the bulk order will be handled. Share a reference, the quantity per style and the date you need the goods, and the sample can be scoped before any bulk commitment. Current pant shapes are on the yoga pants page.
